Our beautiful 16.5″ silver plated Nepali Amitayus Buddha statue sits in full lotus position depicting the Dhyana Mudra, the meditation gesture, with the silver long-life vase and its ornamental sprouting plume resting on his upturned palms. The statue is finished in a striking two-tone treatment: the face, torso, and arms are left in a deep, antiquated copper patina, while the crown, jewelry, scarves, and robe are plated in silver. The tall silver crown rises in flame-like points to a spire finial, framed by open silver hoop earrings, and an ornate silver collar necklace drapes into a pendant at the chest. The engraved silver dhoti flows over his crossed legs, and silver scarves loop around both elbows before descending into angular swirls that rest on the base beside his knees. The contrast between warm aged copper and cool silver gives this piece a commanding presence in any home or meditation center.

Embellish Your Nepali Amitayus Statue

Our Nepali master artisans created this beautiful Amitayus statue with the jewelry and crown of a Bodhisattva. At the request of the buyer, we would be happy to adorn the crown and jewels of the statue with turquoise or red stones — at no extra charge, our skilled artisans can embellish the statue with these special decorations before delivery, where the colored stones stand out beautifully against the silver.

The color turquoise is a special combination of blue and green: blue signifies the purity of the Buddhas, and green symbolizes their readiness to act. Devotees meditating on the color red can transform the delusion of attachment into the wisdom of discernment — red is the color of Amitabha’s Buddha family, to which Amitayus belongs. If you’re drawn to this statue’s longevity symbolism, explore Amitayus, the Longevity Form of Amitabha, or find answers to common questions in our Amitayus Buddha Statues FAQ. This Amitayus statue will wear the adornments very well and inspire all who lay eyes on it — browse our full collection of Amitayus Buddha statues to compare sizes and finishes.
