Our master artisans created this beautiful handmade Cintachakra statue with the jewelry and crown of a Bodhisattva — a tall five-pointed crown rising around her blue-black painted hair, large scrolled ear ornaments framing the face, and layered necklaces, armbands, and bracelets completing the set. At the request of the buyer, we would be happy to adorn the crown and jewels with turquoise and red stones — at no extra charge, our skilled artisans can embellish the statue before delivery.
The color turquoise is a special combination of blue and green — blue signifies the purity of the Buddhas, and green symbolizes their readiness to act. Cintachakra wears it well and will inspire all who lay eyes on the statue.
Our handmade Cintachakra statue embodies one of Tara’s most beloved emanations. Devotees believe she glows with the radiance of a thousand white moons, and she watches over them with seven eyes: two on her face, a third upright on her forehead — painted here in red — and one on each palm and each sole, so that all her thoughts and actions are imbued with wisdom and compassion.
Cintachakra Statue Attributes
This handmade Cintachakra statue sits in full lotus pose on a stacked double lotus pedestal, its two tiers of petals rising from a tall base ringed with beaded, key-fret, and scroll bands. Two lotus flowers blossom on carved stems at her shoulders — at her right, a distinctive parasol-form bloom opening like a canopy, and at her left, a rounded bud. Her raised left hand holds the stem of the lotus delicately between thumb and fingers in the gesture of refuge and teaching, while her right hand rests open over the knee in the Varada, or “gift giving,” mudra, the eye of the Seven Eyed Tara gazing from the palm.
