Would you like to have a beautiful handmade Chogye Trichen Rinpoche statue for your home altar or meditation center? We are happy to assist you in acquiring your lifelike sculpture of this most influential Tibetan Buddhist guru. Our Nepali master artisan has shaped the statue using real life photos of the guru in order to capture his image in real life. However, if you need your Chogye Trichen Rinpoche statue in a different size, we are happy to accommodate your preferences.
Gold face painting is included in the cost. Additionally, we have shaped the facial features according to real life images of Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. His nose, smile and eyes are as close as possible to his real expression.
Mudras displayed by the guru include the Abhaya “protection” mudra displayed with his right hand. His left hand will be resting in his lap with the book of Tibetan book of wisdom in the palm. Additionally, the statue to will be created according to the following specifications:
- Robes simple smooth design, no fancy hemlines.
- Feet and legs of the statue should be covered with the robes.
- Right hand Abhaya mudra, left hand Dhyana mudra.
- The guru will wear Sakya Pandita Hat with detailed engravings on the trim.
- Facial features: “… with a light smile, closed lips etc.”
All our Nepali statues are hand crafted using the lost wax sculpting method. As a result, each statue is a handmade original. We use the fire gilding method and all statues are finished with 24k real gold. In addition, we can arrange for consecration at a Sakya monastery in Kathmandu before shipping e.g. Tharlam Monastery.
