This handcrafted set of Seven Tibetan Offering Bowls is traditionally used for the daily water offerings placed before Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and meditation deities on a Buddhist shrine. Handmade in Patan, Nepal from copper alloy, each bowl features a rich oxidized finish accented with finely engraved traditional auspicious motifs and elegant 24K gold details around the rim and decorative designs. Their classic proportions and balanced craftsmanship make them equally suitable for personal meditation spaces, home altars and temple shrines.

In Tibetan Buddhism, seven offering bowls symbolize the traditional offerings of drinking water, water for bathing, flowers, incense, light, perfume and food. Although practitioners commonly fill every bowl with fresh water, each vessel is visualized as containing one of these precious offerings. Water is traditionally chosen because it is pure, readily available and can be offered with complete generosity, encouraging the cultivation of compassion, gratitude and the accumulation of merit through daily practice.

Seven Tibetan Offering Bowls Handmade in Nepal

Each bowl is individually handcrafted by skilled Newar artisans using traditional metalworking techniques that have been preserved in the Kathmandu Valley for generations. The warm oxidized copper finish beautifully complements the engraved auspicious emblems, while the 24K gold detailing highlights each decorative motif with subtle contrast. The smooth interior, carefully rolled rim and balanced profile demonstrate the attention to detail expected of authentic Himalayan ritual implements.

Traditional Buddhist Shrine Offering Set
