Our Nepali master artisan created our handmade Green Tara statue with the jewelry and crown of a Bodhisattva. At the request of the buyer, we would be happy to adorn the crown and jewels of this Green Tara statue with turquoise and red stones. At no extra charge, the skilled artisan can embellish the statue with these special decorations before delivery.
The color turquoise is a special combination of blue and green. Indeed, blue signifies the purity of the Buddhas and green symbolizes her readiness to act. Our handmade Dolma statue will wear it well and will inspire all those who lay their eyes on the statue.
Green Tara Statue Features
Our Green Tara is highlighted with silver plated features and an antiquated finish. As a result, the two aspects work together and embellish the statue. The silver plated detail is included on Green Tara’s bodhisattva crown and jewels. This results in a unique finish that was expertly crafted.
Additional attributes of the statue include her partially extended right leg which is the trademark of Green Tara. She is always alert and ready to come to the aid of sentient life. Green Tara is also depicting the protection mudra with her raised left hand and the gift giving mudra with her lowered right hand. She always has the well being of her devotees in the forefront of her thoughts.
Green Tara features a lotus flower growing over each of her shoulders. The lotus flower is very symbolic in Buddhist beliefs. This is because in the natural environment, the lotus flower grows from the muddy pond bottom and rises above the murky water to blossom in the clean air and sunshine.
