Our Tibetan Bhumpa set was handmade using traditional sculpting methods. The high quality craftsmanship is evident in the fine engravings that adorn these ceremonial vases. Additionally, the ritual objects are created on a base of oxidized copper alloy with 24K gold gilding and are embedded with semi-precious turquoise and red coral stones. The reason two of them are needed is because during the ceremony one is the “chief” vase and the other is the “action” vase. Therefore, the chief vase stays on the altar for ceremonial effect and the action vase is used for dispensation of holy water during the ceremony. This Tibetan Bhumpa set can be used for purification of persons, objects or buildings.
