Our Tibetan bhumpa set was hand crafted from copper alloy by the world class artisans of Patan, Nepal. They also embedded this bhumpa set with coral and turquoise stones. Additionally, their high quality craftsmanship is evident in the fine engravings that adorn these ceremonial vases. Each vase serves a different purpose during the consecration ceremony. This is because the first bhumpa is the “chief” vase and the second bhumpa is the “action” vase. As such, the chief vase stays on the altar for ceremonial effect and the action vase is used for dispensation of holy water during the ceremony. This Tibetan bhumpa set can be used for purification of Buddha statues, thangkas, persons, objects or buildings.
