Buddhist Gods Guide | Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Protectors in the Buddhist Pantheon

Edwin

I've lived in Southeast Asia for over 10 years, spending time in temples and monasteries across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. That exposure to Buddhist art and ritual practice across the region is what drew me specifically toward Tibetan Buddhist sculpture. For the past 9 years, I've worked directly with a family-run broker in Kathmandu, now in its third generation of coordinating international handicraft sales for artisans across the city. They handle everything on the ground — working with the artisans, quality control, and shipping every piece directly from Nepal. Beyond sourcing for Golden Buddha, I also help market the artisans' own work internationally. My role is bringing these authentic, handmade statues, thangkas, and ritual items to customers outside Asia, with clear descriptions, personal service, and reliable shipping straight from Kathmandu.
