Antiquated Green Tara Statue Features
This antiquated Green Tara statue is imbued with the rich luster of an antiquated finish. Additionally, the venerable finish is highlighted with silver plated detailing on her robe, flowers and also her Bodhisattva crown and jewels. This results in a unique finish that was expertly crafted.
Additional attributes of the Green Tara statue include her partially extended right leg. This is the trademark of Green Tara because she is always alert and ready to come to the aid of sentient life. This Green Tara statue is also depicting the protection mudra with her raised left hand and the gift giving mudra with her lowered right hand. She always has the well being of her devotees in the forefront of her thoughts.
Green Tara also features a lotus flower growing over each of her shoulders. The lotus flower is very symbolic in Buddhist beliefs. This is because in the natural environment, the lotus flower grows from the muddy pond bottom and rises above the murky water to blossom in the clean air and sunshine.
