This Black Cloaked Mahakala statue faithfully preserves the traditional iconography of Bernagchen. His wrathful expression features three glaring eyes that perceive the past, present, and future simultaneously, while his open mouth displays sharp fangs that symbolize the destruction of ego and ignorance. His flaming red hair rises upward, representing blazing wisdom that burns away delusion, and his crown of five skulls signifies the transformation of the five mental poisons into the Five Wisdoms.
