Tibetan Dorje Sempa statues are strongly associated with karma purification rituals and the Vajrasattva mantra. While advancing as a Bodhisattva, Vajrasattva made very compassionate vows. For example, he said he would abstain from receiving awakening until all those who recite his mantra or hear his name are forgiven for all transgressions.
