Our Nepali master artisan created our beautiful Green Tara Buddha statue with the jewelry and crown of a bodhisattva. At the request of the buyer, we would be happy to adorn the crown and jewels of this statue with turquoise and red stones. At no extra charge, the skilled artisan can embellish the statue with these special decorations before delivery.

The color turquoise is a special combination of blue and green. Indeed, blue signifies the purity of the Buddhas and green symbolizes her readiness to act. She wears it well and will inspire all those who lay their eyes on her statue.

Green Tara Buddha Statue Features

Green Tara is associated with the color green, which symbolizes action and a constant state of readiness. Therefore, her devotees believe that she will immediately assist them if they are in danger. Our Green Tara statue can inspire the confidence necessary to try new things and vanquish ignorance. As a result of her constant state of readiness the statue is not depicted in full lotus. Instead her left leg is pulled in to represent contemplation. However, her right leg is extended because she is ready to spring to action.

Her right hand is draped over her right knee expressing the Varada “boon granting” mudra. Additionally, her left hand is depicting the protection mudra. In both the left hand and right hand, she is gently holding the stems of two beautiful blue lotus flowers which are growing over her shoulders. The unopened blue lotus flowers symbolize purity and power. Click here to learn more about Tara statues and symbols.
