Our Nepali master artisan created this masterpiece Vajrasattva statue with the jewelry and crown of a bodhisattva. Additionally, the artisan has embellished the crown, jewels and robe with turquoise and red coral semi-precious stones. As a result, the beautiful hand carvings of the statue will feature some beautiful symbolic colors of Buddhism.
The color red is a tribute to Amitabha Buddha. Tibetan Buddhists believe that meditation on the color red will transmute the poison of attachment into the wisdom of discernment. Furthermore, turquoise is a combination of blue and green which symbolizes Vajrasattva’s dedication to the Buddhas and his readiness to act.

This beautiful hand carved masterpiece is depicted with the vajra in his right hand and the ghanta bell in his left hand. These are very significant Buddhist symbols. The Ghanta is the feminine symbol for wisdom. Additionally, the vajra is the symbol for the masculine attribute of compassion. However, it is the combination of these two symbols that is the most potent. This is because Nirvana has been described as the state where wisdom and compassion are combined.
