The result is highly detailed productions of statues and ritual items.

Medicine Buddha is also known as Bhaisajyaguru and he is venerated in both Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhist beliefs. Additionally, Medicine Buddha resides in “Lapis Lazuli Pure Land”. This pure land is built on a ground made of pure lapis lazuli which is a beautiful semi precious stone. Also, the buildings and infrastructure are hand crafted from the seven treasures.

Devotees believe that Medicine Buddha sits in his pure land and radiates the pure lapis lazuli light. As a result, all sentient beings that come in contact with the light will emerge from the darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge. Their suffering will cease and they will be granted all of their wishes.

This Nepali Medicine Buddha statue can be used as a a source of inspiration. Additionally, devotees can distribute their good karma with the help of the Medicine Buddha. One method is to faithfully recite the Medicine Buddha mantra 108 times over a glass of water. Next, give the water to a patient or someone who is suffering from mundane illness. As a result, when they drink the water the good karma that has been generated will be ingested. There are many testimonies of the powerful effects of this method.
