This White Dzambhala on green dragon mount holds a gold stick in his right hand with a vajra on the top end. Additionally, he holds his mongoose named Nehulay in his left hand. Nehulay is always spewing forth precious jewels from his mouth to give to devotees.
Dzambhala is one of the eight Dharmapala who is responsible for the protection of the Dharma. The dragon is a symbol for enlightenment in Chinese Buddhism and it is often seen adorning temple gates and roofs. Additionally, the dragon is a symbol of clarity and impermanence.
