Our handmade Tibetan Phurba Ritual Dagger set is 16.5″ inches in height and features an antiquated copper finish. The item was hand carved in Patan, Nepal using the traditional lost wax sculpting method. Indeed, for many centuries the Nepali artisans have been the preferred source of Tibetan ritual items for the Tibetan monasteries. As a result, the buyer can rest assured that they have purchased an authentic Phurba Ritual Dagger set with the highest quality carving.

The Phurba has a three sided blade with each edge representing one of the three spirit worlds. In addition, the Phurba as a whole represents the world’s axis and brings together the three spirit worlds. Traditionally used as an ancient Vedic sacrificial tool, it is also regarded as a powerful weapon used to subdue negative energy and evil spirits. In addition, our Phurba features a dorje or vajra carved into the handle.

Furthermore, the Tibetan word “Phurba” means a stake used for securing or a peg used for tethering a tent. This ritual Buddhist dagger or dart symbolizes the elimination of a foe or the slaying of obstacles to spiritual realization.

Our Tibetan Phurba set can be consecrated in Nepal before Shipping, upon request. Contact me for details by leaving a note during checkout and I will follow up with additional information involving consecration services.
