The sculptors we work with in Patan are members of the Shakya family caste who specialize in the fire gilding method. As a result, they have expertise in gold gilded handmade statues. Limited Edition Shakyamuni Statue Features:
The statue glitters with 24 karat gold and is depicted with the Bhumisparsha mudra, ushnisha topknot, right turning hair coils, third eye of wisdom, elongated ears and the alms bowl. All of these features have their origins with Shakyamuni Buddha. Additionally, the robe is hand carved with intricate detail and it is truly a limited edition statue.
