Limited Edition Shakyamuni Statue Features
The statue glitters with 24 karat gold and is depicted with the Bhumisparsha mudra, the ushnisha topknot with right-turning hair coils, the urna or third eye of wisdom, elongated earlobes, and the alms bowl — features whose origins all trace to Shakyamuni Buddha himself. The robe drapes over both shoulders around a smooth, mirror-polished chest, and its hand-carved detail rewards close inspection: paisley-style medallion engravings flow across the lap and sleeves, and a finely crosshatched band gathers the sash at the waist. Shakyamuni sits in full lotus pose — a posture indicating that his Dharma teachings rest on a foundation of unshakable virtue — atop a single lotus pedestal finished with a double beaded rim, each petal carrying a small engraved crest.
